David Kantor, DO

Family Medicine

David Kantor, D.O. is a board certified Family Practice physician since 1986 by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice. He graduated with a bachelor degree from Washington University, and completed his D.O. medical degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He has been on staff at St. Luke's Des Peres Hospital since 1978 and has served as Chief of Family Medicine. He is currently chief of the medical staff.

His practice offers wellness exams and management, physicals, and chronic disease management including the areas of diabetes, hypertension, respiratory diseases, and metabolic conditions. He also offers care for acute illnesses such as upper respiratory infections and back and neck pain.

Dr. Kantor's communication style and Holistic approach encourages patients to participate fully in their health care. He utilizes his specialized training in osteopathic manipulative management to care for a variety of illnesses including headache, spine and extremity issues.

The practice welcomes patients generally fifteen years of age and older, and is centrally located on the St. Luke's Des Peres Hospital campus.
