Jeffrey Brown, DO
Preventive and Invasive Cardiology
Dr. Brown specializes in preventive and invasive cardiology. He performs diagnostic cardiac catheterizations through the wrist, using the radial artery approach, which is safer, less painful and has fewer complications than the traditional diagnostic cath that goes through the groin. His focus on preventive cardiology includes advanced lipid analysis and pre-operative risk assessment for surgeons.
Dr. Brown is board certified in internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate education at Knox College in Galesburg, IL. He received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania in 2005. He moved to St. Louis in 2005 to complete his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He served as Medical Officer on Duty at Jefferson Barracks VA and as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University Hospital.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Brown, the father of two, enjoys basketball, volleyball, running and weight lifting and spending time with his family.
